About Me

I am happiest when I move. I love to run, bike, hike and play outside. If I can’t move, I can’t be me.

Massage therapy has often helped me to quickly recover from overuse injuries and pain due to emotional and physical stresses, so that I could return to the freedom and power of active living. My goal is to provide relief for my clients by using therapeutic massage to help them relax, move more easily and live with less pain so they too can continue participating in the activities they love.

I am from Austin, TX originally, then moved to Reno, NV where I discovered my love for the outdoors. Recently my husband and I moved to Palmer, AK to be closer to family, mountains and to experience a more connected community. We are enjoying each day exploring the Mat-Su Valley, skiing, running and playing with family.

I received my training at Texas Healing Arts Institute and completed their 500 hour massage therapy program in May 2014. Studies included Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, pregnancy massage, hydrotherapy, and basic clinical massage. I have since completed an additional 32 hours of training in the John F Barnes Myofascial Release Approach.

My massage style is fluid and connected to allow my client to relax and begin the healing process. Each massage is individual and tailored to each client. I like to incorporate therapeutic Swedish Massage techniques, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release along with gentle stretching and targeted deep tissue work to address each client’s specific needs.

I look forward to working with you!
